Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting portraits for the new Dutch political party Artikel1. The name comes from the 1st amendement of the Dutch constitution that says: 

All persons in the Netherlands shall be treated equally in equal
circumstances. Discrimination on the grounds of religion, belief, political
opinion, race or sex or on any other grounds whatsoever shall not be
permitted.

A beautiful and diverse group of people who strongly believe that everyone is born equal and should be treated as such. A group with the courage and perseverance to not only stand for this ideal but take action and fight for it. The type of people this world and these times could use a lot more of.
