When I'm not traveling, I live in the wonderful city of Utrecht, right in the centre of The Netherlands. Most of my studio work I do at home in an area of Utrecht called Lombok, a vibrant and multi-cultural place where I've lived for most of my adult life.
Approach
The single most important part of my job as a photographer, is to really connect with the person in front of my camera. Like Edward Steichen once said; a portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it. I believe the honesty and sincerity of this connection will make a photo stand out.
